Carl Runnels will dive into the connection between personal finances and workplace success. He’ll share strategies for improving financial wellness by not only embracing employer offered benefits but also thinking outside the box. Although he isn’t an accountant, he knows enough to be dangerous and will share ideas to improve the inevitable tax liability we’ll all face. Attendees will gain practical insights and actionable next steps to implement their own strategies or complement what planning they already have in place.

Carl brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. He spent 15 years in Corporate America, including six years at Delta Faucet Company (DFC), where he managed the national business for Hajoca Corp., Winsupply Inc. & Ferguson Enterprises’ showroom/builder segment. During COVID, he transitioned to financial advising and has since built his practice on serving families and business owners in the trades. Through his close relationship with BDA (Battersby Danielson Azbell) – Manufacturers’ Rep Agency, Carl was introduced to Jim Farmer, which ultimately connected him to the GIPHCC. His diverse background, industry knowledge, and sophisticated approach to financial planning make him a natural fit for advancing the mission of GIPHCC.
