Indiana PHCC received a small grant from the Hamilton County opioid settlement to conduct PHCC pre apprentice training in HVAC and Plumbing for one year, as a pilot to determine if this could be a good avenue to provide skills to inmates seeking a second chance upon their release.

Indiana PHCC is using the PHCC Academy courses to facilitate the classes. We are also seeing lots of interest in the program and will determine how we can expand it to other Sheriff's departments throughout the state.
